Meet Courtney Garner and the Team

  • Courtney is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive training and experience in functional medicine, hormone replacement therapy, and clinical endocrinology. She’s an alumni of the University of Oklahoma and University of South Alabama. And an active member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. 

    Her own health journey of overcoming gut health issues, infertility, and low thyroid has fueled her passion to bring root cause medicine to patient’s across the nation, restoring men and women to optimal health!

    Courtney’s a proud wife and mother of 3 beautiful children.

  • Elissa is a Certified Medical Assistant with over 25 years of experience working in many different areas including but not limited to Dermatology, Wound Care, Hormone Replacement, and Urgent Care.  She has a passion for integrative, naturopathic, and functional medicine. Courtney first met Elissa several years ago when she was working for one of our vendors, drawing labs. We were always impressed with her warm and bubbly personality and amazing lab draw skills! It's a safe bet that Elissa is the best lab draw tech in Oklahoma! 

    She has a love for animals and nature, a passion for helping people, and loves a good hug! In her free time she loves to spend time with her daughter, her husband and two spoiled furry babies.

  • Taylor comes to us as a former Executive Assistant with a keen passion to brighten the lives of those around her and make a positive impact wherever she goes.

    Her primary role is scheduling patient appointments, new patient onboarding, and creative touchpoints that put a smile on each patient's face.

    In her personal time- she's a lover of adventure and the great outdoors!

  • Hilen (pronounced more like Elaine... silent H) Flores comes to us with administrative and customer service background and serves as our refill coordinator. We've known her family for several years from our time in Miami, Florida. She now resides in Mexico City where she and her husband, Rob, are very involved in a large ministry. She loves to travel and often goes back and forth to the states for various work and ministry needs. Hilen has a passion for helping, providing value and making a difference.

  • Romeo serves as our Refill Coordinator and Lab Order Administrator, supporting the clinical team by keeping medication refills, lab orders, and behind the scenes workflows running smoothly. With a background in respiratory therapy, virtual healthcare support, and extensive customer service and call center experience, he brings both clinical insight and strong administrative expertise to his role.

    Outside of work, Romeo is a devoted husband and proud father to a beautiful baby girl. That personal perspective shows up in how he approaches his work, with patience, empathy, and a strong sense of responsibility. Romeo is known for his reliability, attention to detail, and calm approach in fast paced environments. He works closely with our providers to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and clear communication, helping create a seamless experience for both patients and staff while upholding the high standards of care at Wellspot Functional Medicine.
